Volunteer

Sweetwater Public Library accepts volunteers! Many things can be done around the library, from shelving and processing to reading at Children's Storytime, weeding flowerbeds, and assisting staff members with any new projects.  

The library requires volunteers to register ahead of time so the library can match you with a job that is fitting with your talents. To sign up to be a volunteer, call us at 423-337-5274. If you need hours before a certain deadline, please schedule your hours early! We can only accommodate up to 1 volunteer per day, and volunteers are scheduled for 4 hours at a time. If you have extenuating circumstances, please call us to schedule and we will try our best to work something out with you.
