A: The library currently offers free Wi-Fi access within the building, as well as 1-hour public access computers. To connect to our Wi-Fi, select 'SPL Public Access Wireless'.
A: Yes! The library can receive faxes (50 cents per page) and send faxes ($1.00 per page). No Out of Country Faxing
A: No. The application can be downloaded and printed from the Get a Card page. You will still need to visit the library to complete the application.
A: Library cards are free! All you need to do is bring a current State of Tennessee or Federal photo identification (not expired/about to expire), and a recent form of proof of address (that isn't your ID) when you sign up. We accept all valid and current forms of government-issued ID, and for proof of address we will accept vehicle registrations, bill/bank statements (both physical and electronic), voter registrations, or anything similar that is official.
A: Please call the library or visit in person to check your account status! If you're unsure and plan to visit in person, please bring the required paperwork for a new card (valid photo ID and proof of address) along with you just in case.
